Breaking News of the Day: An Unlimited P-51 Mustang plane piloted by Jimmy Leeward of Florida has crashed into the stands at Reno Air Races, killing at least 12 people, and injuring dozens more — possibly as many as 100.
The plane, nicknamed “Galloping Ghost,” reportedly struck the box seats in the grandstand shortly after takeoff.
